This was first time visiting the Suburban and I will most definitely be returning. The service from the lovely lady at the bar combined with the most amazing food I’ve had in a good while. I chose the Buffalo Parmi and OMG 🤗 it’s the best in the state 👏👏 A huge portion which I simply could not finish. For a small pub in the southern suburbs it was exceptional and it was a privilege to dine here. I only generally comment on the service and hygiene of an establishment but this was a lovely suprise. I only wish I had taken a photo of the food before I stuffed it in my mouth but I was starving and I’m not posting a pic of a couple of lettuce leaves I left behind. It was a last minute plan to take our dad out for his birthday yesterday and not on his actual birthday (he's working). Unlike me, my family are very picky eaters, and they don't like a bar/tavern atmosphere. Once they came in, they saw the prices and were shocked, because they're quite high compared to where they usually eat. But the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and when the food came to the table all their jaws dropped. 😂 They loved the food so much that they wanted me to bring them here again from time to time. They stacked the plates filled to the brim with absolutely delicious food. I highly recommend this place, seriously go try it you won't regret it 😎😎 ~ Steve J

Wow. American meat plate?! Delish and great value. Yes please! Most authentic buffalo wing sauce I’ve had since moving from the States. Brisket and ribs very moreish. Another great meal at our local. Just keeps getting better. Please stop upping the quality or we will have to start booking our table in advance. New! Kids eat free on Sundays. Thank you. That’s awesome value. Grandma loves the crispy roasted pork belly and mash. Staff are friendly. Bathrooms are always tidy. What is not to love…?! Beats some of the other pubs in the area hands down. Booked in at the last minute not realising today was valentines day ekk. Management got us a table without no stress. Arrived before booking time was no issue Ordered our drinks and food. Drinks were served promptly and can recommend the Toblerone Cocktail 🍸 Our food was served not to long after. The steak and chips were great. Steak cooked to hubby's liking and I had the grilled snapper it was lovely. The girls that served us were friendly and bubbley and cleaned our table after we had finished eating. We will be back and would recommend The Suburban for sure. ~ Sonya R

First time I have been to the establishment. The food was lovely I had the Suburban Angus Burger Single Patty and it was delicious, the White Hot Chocolate was made perfectly, not too sweet even when I added sugar to it, it tasted like Cadbury Dream Chocolate, temperature was perfect. The service from the staff was top notch that when we left, two of the lovely ladies did like a little bow and I gave them a side high five and a fist bump and they made our day. Another KWINANA Gem! Arrived for an early lunch on a Saturday. Greeted by the friendly lady at the bar. Had a fettuccini carbonara and a tomahawk. The fettuccini carbonara is classic delicious but I do hope for more cream (forget about the calories at Thai point). The tomahawk with red wine jus served with mash and vege is yum!! The meat is cooked to perfection as we wanted it to be medium rare, juicy and tender! The creamy mash and vege soaked in the jus compliments each other so well. Looking forward to another meal at the Suburban. ~ Jmom

As stated in other reviews, it is a little on the pricey side. However, the quality of the food does justify this. All our meals were fresh, hot and of good portion size. The kids meals were huge. Customer service was excellent. It is a very loud area, presumably because of the concrete walls. We will definitely be returning for another meal and drink. ~ Kirsty

Love the suburban located right in Bertram. Always go past and see happy diners out the front. Staff are lovely and clearly care about quality customer service. We all enjoyed our food. Fresh and super fast. I had the Asian style beef and cucumber wraps. Dressing was good and the beef was great quality and very tender. There was a little too much wrap for filling ratio. ~ Colleen C

The Suburban is awesome! The staff are so accomodating and friendly. The meal we had today was outstanding. Crispy Pork belly on mash with broccolini perfect! My husband had the jambalaya soup and said it was beautiful. The Suburban is fast becoming our new favourite as locals. Thanks to all the staff. ~ jackie s

Just had the nicest fish and chips today for lunch, the best i have had in a long time. The batter was crisp and not at all greasy, i dont know how they did the chips but they were scrumptious. The young lady who served us from behind the bar ( never got her name) was lovely friendly and polite. Will be back again to try other menu options. ~ linda s

Huge shoutout to Cam, the good lookin' bartender! But in all seriousness, Cam, you're a legend and the food was massive and incredible! 10/10 parmi for size, taste and cost! First time coming here & the atmosphere is warm & welcoming, a great menu that covers every palate & I mean, everyone! The share plate & stuffed mushrooms are amazing! The highlight was definitely being served by Kim, a bright bubbly lady with a fantastic personality. We’ll definitely be back for more.. ~ Donna R

New to the area as I’ve just moved from Sydney. Family visits me and we go to this little sports bar when they do come. Coffee here is okay (my boyfriend likes the roast by I don’t like it). Food is somewhat that typical bar food but less greasy and presented well ~ Kim M

Great place! local, well behaved attendee's, friendly staff, great value, meals are sensational (spaghetti with prawns & buffalo wings) gluten free pizza bases need improvement. Not loud and rowdy, suitable for kids & genuinely comfortable for any average person. ~ Robin B

Amazing staff, beautiful food never have to wait too long even with a full restaurant. Great specials, especially the Wednesday $15 steak deal 👌 Can't complain with that. Fed my family of 5 adults for $75. On average family dinner out costs $200 minimum. My new favourite ~ Megan H

Food was absolutely amazing, salmon prawn and scallot pasta was a perfect balance of flavours. The prawn and pork belly bites pasta was spicy for those who enjoy a nice chilli but will lovely flavours well balanced. The lovely girls behind the bar were also lovely and very attentive ~ Ally F

Food was good as it has been last 4 times.Food portions were plentiful for burgers and loaded fries the platter wasn't as good as last couple of times we could barely finish. This time not as much. Atmosphere is great service is always top notch fast and friendly knowledgeable. ~ Shaun c

Had dinner here with some friends, tried a couple of their dishes on the specials board while our friends tried the parmi night with a couple different parmi's, we all enjoyed our food. Would definitely eat here again, lots to choose from. ~ Lexi

I got the pork belly and it was probably one of the best if not the best pork belly I’ve ever ate. It just melts in your mouth with crunchy crackle. Staff were lovely and made sure we all had our food and that everything was ok. Great job guys! ~ Tay R
